Catherine Little joined Broadland as Executive Housing Director in July 2018.
She has worked in the social housing sector since 2006, developing a strong culture of involving residents and providing high quality services. Before joining Broadland, she was Assistant Director of Strategy and Governance, and Company Secretary, at Soha Housing. She brings with her particular skills and experience in policy development, regulatory compliance, communications and resident involvement, and was a CIH Regional Board Member.
Catherine has supported national initiatives, including the tenant-led Scrutiny Live which saw tenants review national housing policy, and Benefit to Society (now known as See the Person) through which tenants tackle the negative stereotypes all too often seen about people who happen to live in social housing.
Previously, Catherine worked in the non-profit sector for a number of charities around adult and school education, urban design and community safety. She was a founding Board member of Oxford Credit Union and a former Board member of Oxfordshire Community Land Trust.
Catherine has a degree in English and completed an MBA in 2017.
She is passionate about the need for high quality housing for all and the role that housing associations can play in this, working in partnership with tenants and others.
