History
Broadland St Benedicts is the full market housing subsidiary of Broadland Housing. The company was formed in 2006 to help address the chronic shortage of social housing in Norfolk and north Suffolk.
We are using Broadland St Benedicts and Broadland Development Services (another company within our group), to generate funds to build more affordable homes, without borrowing large sums of money from banks.

Values
Broadland St Benedicts is based in Norwich and employs some of the best contractors in Norfolk to construct and successfully deliver our developments.
Since the beginning, Broadland St Benedicts has focused on smaller developments in north Norfolk’s villages. The ethos is to create true mixed tenure housing that balances the needs of each village. The houses are designed to both reflect and enrich their surroundings. Each development is individually designed by Norfolk architects who understand the rural context of each location.
For example, the The Priory scheme at Binham was designed by award-winning Hudson Architects. It reflects the core values of Broadland St Benedicts:
- excellent design
- sustainable local Norfolk building
- a unique character for each development
