Re-start of routine repairs survey – tenants’ views
Thank you to all those who took part in our recent survey on getting our routine repairs service back up and running.
Feedback from the survey and our video call for tenants on Zoom helped us refine our approach to re-starting the repairs service. These adjustments include:
- We will repair any unsafe doors within 24 hours and any damaged locks within 4 hours. All other repairs to external doors will be in category c
- If we know that you are disabled or vulnerable, and the nature of your disability or vulnerability means that a more urgent repair is essential to enable you to live in your home, we will give your repair greater priority
- To ensure that we allocate the backlog of repairs as fairly as we can, we will allocate jobs based on where our operatives live, and work through the categories area by area. We have operatives who live all over the county including rural area.
We are planning to re-start our full repairs service at the beginning of July 2020.
