Broadland is seeking an assured resident to join our Board as a Resident Board Member.
This role helps guide Broadland’s long‑term direction and ensures Board decisions reflect residents lived experience.
About the Role
As a Resident Board Member, you will:
- Help set Broadland’s long‑term priorities
- Ask questions and support good decisions
- Consider impact on residents, homes and communities
- Work with other Board members and the Executive team
You do not need board experience. We’re looking for a resident perspective, willingness to prepare for meetings, and commitment to Broadland’s purpose and values. For more information please see the document below.
Who can apply
You must be:
- An assured tenant of Broadland Housing Association (not shared ownership)
- Not in rent arrears
- Not under investigation for anti‑social behaviour
You must remain an assured tenant throughout your term on the Board.
Time Commitment and Support
- Around 1.5 days per month (including six Board meetings a year near Norwich)
- Join at least one committee
- Induction, training and ongoing support provided
Payment
We pay ÂŁ5,400 per year (gross) and we will pay reasonable pre-agreed expenses (travel, childcare or caring costs).

Interviews will be held on 24 June 2026
