Our apprenticeships cover a range of industries, including business administration, housing, customer service, plumbing, electrics and gas.
We work with local learning providers, including City College Norwich, East Coast College (Great Yarmouth), Construction Training Specialists and JTL Training People. A new partnership with the Centre for Housing and Support will increase the number of apprenticeships we offer, giving greater access to jobs and learning opportunities.
About our apprenticeships:
- Different learning styles: Our apprenticeships include assessor visits, day release and block release, according to course requirements.
- Payment: We pay higher than minimum wage rate for apprentices on appointment. We also have (subject to performance and review) – generous increases in the pay rate at 6 and 12 months. This is designed to reward good performance and incentivise learners to complete the course.
- Rotating apprenticeship role: Apprentices experience 3 different areas of the workplace, which helps them decide a career path for the future.
Once learners have finished their apprenticeship, many go on to secure permanent and fixed term roles in the business, so the career opportunities on completion are excellent.
