    Louise Archer

    Louise Archer, BSc FRICS, Executive Asset Director, has been at Broadland Housing Group since November 2007. She was appointed her role as Executive Property Director in July 2011.

    Louise started her career working in the Housing and Architectural Services Department of Great Yarmouth Borough Council. During this time, she gained a BSc in Quantity Surveying from Anglia Ruskin University.

    From then Louise spent time gaining experience with RG Carter Building, and then worked as a Senior Project Surveyor at Davis Langdon. Louise achieved Chartered Quantity Surveyor Status from RICS and then joined Broadland Housing. She is responsible for Broadland Repairs Service and for ensuring our homes meet the decent homes standard plus the management of IT, facilities and services within the Property Directorate.

    Louise has been Chair of the RICS East of England Regional Board since 2013 and will be stepping down in early 2018. She joined the RICS UK and Ireland World Regional Board in 2015 and was elected to RICS Governing Council in November 2017.

    In 2015 Louise completed her CIH Chartered Institute of Housing Membership Qualification, which recognises candidates for their qualifications, competency and commitment in the housing profession.

    Louise is passionate about sustainability and was recognised for her work on this subject with an award for Sustainable Leadership in 2015. Louise is also a trustee for the Commonwealth Housing Trust, who help provide housing for people in the poorest countries around the world.

    Andrew Savage

    Andrew Savage, MSc MRICS, Executive Development Director, started his career in property and development in 1985. His combined experience in residential/commercial property sales and development spans 20 years.

    In 2003 Andrew joined Broadland as Head of New Business, looking at new ways to develop affordable housing. In early 2005 he took on the responsibility of the full development function within the organisation.

    In July 2005 he was appointed Assistant Director (New Business and Asset Management) combining the development and estates functions of Broadland, overseeing the delivery of the new developments programme. He also ensured the delivery of the Association’s day-to-day repair service and planned programme of major repairs. In November 2006 he was appointed Director of Development to continue the business growth and delivery of new development, asset management and bring facilities management and services into the Directorate.

    Andrew was appointed to the new Group Executive Team in July 2009, as Executive Director of Business Growth.

    He is on the board of Broadland Development Services.

    Jenny Manser

    Jenny Manser, board member, Broadland Meridian

    Jenny Manser is an independent management consultant, mainly serving community and voluntary sector organisations. Until September 2017 she was the Chair of Broadland’s Board. Her areas of expertise are social housing, change management and the development of community-based health and social care projects.

    A former director of Anglia Housing Group, she has held various executive and non- executive roles, and continues to support a variety of organisations and community groups throughout Norfolk and Suffolk.

    Sean Tompkins

    August 13, 2018

    Sean was Chief Executive of RICS from 2010-2021. Operating out of 30 offices around the world, RICS is the world’s largest professional body covering land, property, construction and infrastructure, with over 100,000 people holding its professional qualifications.

    While at RICS, Sean led a sustained programme of change. It resulted in the organisation becoming financially stable, global in its operational reach, and capable of attracting future investment.

    Sean holds a main board appointment with the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing, a business leader of the Marketing Society, a Chartered Insurer, and a Diploma holder of the Institute of Directors. Finally, he was recently awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Engineering by Heriot Watt University “in recognition of his leadership and exceptional and influential contribution to the advancement of surveying standards internationally”.

    Martin Clark

    Martin Clark

    Martin Clark is managing director of a small local property development company. He also carries out development and project management roles for a number of regional construction companies.

    Brought up in Brandon and living in Weeting with his partner and two young daughters, Martin is a professional member of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Building.

    In terms of his professional experience, Martin has worked with a number of leading construction companies over the last 20 years. He has worked on a variety of projects, including infrastructure, offices, schools, medical facilities and housing.

    Martin is a member of the Group Audit Committee.
