What is White Ribbon Day?

White Ribbon Day is an international campaign on the 25th November to end violence against women and girls. It’s a day to raise awareness, promote respectful relationships and stand together against all forms of abuse.

Why we’re supporting it

At Broadland, we believe everyone had the right to feel safe in their home and community. By supporting WRD, we’re showing our commitment to ending violence and encouraging positive, respectful behaviour in all relationships.

How you can get involved

We’re inviting residents to show their support by creating their own white ribbon. You can make, craft, knit or sew – get creative! Each ribbon will join a larger, collaborative display to show our shared support.

Please post your white ribbon to us by Friday 31st October.
