***2022 rent and service charges***

Please check if there is any action you need to take when you receive your letter about 2022 rent/service charges:

If you are receiving Housing Benefit:
Remember to contact your local council so that your payments can be amended. Your council may need to see a copy of your new rent letter.

If you are receiving Universal Credit:
Remember to update your journal with your new rent details when the increase is due to take effect. It is your responsibility to make this change: a ‘confirm your housing costs’ to-do will appear in your to-do list. Just click on this to add in your new rent and service charges. (Please note, it is not a ‘change of circumstances’ under where you live and what it costs.)

If you pay via Direct Debit:
We will make any changes to your direct debit. You will receive separate written notification after any changes are made.

If you pay via Standing Order:
Remember to contact your bank or building society to change your payments to reflect the new rent amount.
