Broadland Meridian was set up to provide training and employment support services to people who experience disadvantage, particularly those suffering from psychiatric, physical or mental rehabilitation.
It now fulfils this function Broadland Meridian Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund. The Fund provides grants to local organisations that share Broadland Meridian’s charitable objectives and aims.

Awards for 2026
We were delighted by the charities that have applied to this year’s fund. We hope that the funding will help them grow and flourish.
Deaf Connexions has received £2,500 to support activities aimed at reducing isolation within the deaf community.
Home-Start Norfolk received £2,500 to deliver early support to families in Great Yarmouth with children under five.
Musical Keys has received £,5000 to help with the cost of running its Outreach Service, supporting wellbeing of vulnerable people in remote areas.
Norfolk Clubhouse has been awarded £5,000 which will contribute towards running its Norwich hub for individuals with significant mental health challenges.
The Bridge for Heroes received £2,500 to support its monthly inclusive outings and activities.
YESU based in Sheringham received £5,000 towards the cost of delivering its connect services. Providing help to young people and families struggling with isolation.

What was achieved during 2023/24
Oasis Norfolk was awarded £1,445 towards monthly meetings, for the free to attend self-support group. The group, for adult transgender people and those who cross dress, was to further their outreach activities and widen membership. Over 50 people have attended monthly meetings and they have produced a Members Pack providing a wide range of other support organisations.
St Barnabas Counselling Centre was awarded £5,000 funding ongoing costs of rent and supervision, 30 volunteer counsellors for cross cultural work assisting refugee/asylum seekers.
The Restoration Trust was awarded £3,438 to run a series of heritage for Wellbeing sessions in Great Yarmouth and Gorleston. There have been 68 people accessing activities ranging from meetings, visits and history walks improving mental wellbeing.
Carers Voice Norfolk & Waveney were awarded £3,437 to support a high profile event followed by six virtual Wellbeing and Wellness days across Norfolk.
Hope after Suicide Loss were awarded £5,000 for the charities work in providing free support to individuals who have experience loss through suicide.
Stand Easy were awarded £3,912 to provide non-talking post traumatic stress treatment for veterans and those on the frontline.
In 2023 the Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund gave funding to Wellsprings Family Centre to continue their support to their local community.
