Thank you to those who attended our November regional Homes for Cathy seminar. We enjoyed an action packed day with lots of discussion in the room. Speakers included:

Louise Hiller, Independent East
The devolution of local government and what this might mean for homeless services.
Ruth Stokes, NCAN + Angeline Rochford-Briggs, End Furniture Poverty + Andrew Waters, FRC Group
Update on the anti-poverty alliance and their achievements to date.
We also heard from End Furniture Poverty (https://endfurniturepoverty.org/), about their work trying to increase the number of furnished lets, and the services that their sister charity provides in order to make it possible.
Steve Hulme, Break
Explore and discuss alternative housing options for care leavers.
Zoe Webb, Your Own Place
