With Universal Credit you must pay your rent directly to us from your monthly payment as soon as you receive it. Call 0303 303 0003 to set up a direct debit if you haven’t already done so. If you don’t have a bank, building society or credit union account, you will need to set one up to receive and make Universal Credit payments.
Universal Credit is paid monthly, in arrears. Your rent payment is due on the 1st of the month – please pay as close to this date as possible. If you find it difficult to manage your money, our Tenancy Support team might be able to help you.
